Every day the Floorplanner team is coming up with new ways of making the user experience on Floorplanner.com as simple and as beneficial as possible to its creators.
We're very excited to introduce our newest feature on the Floorplanner editor: 3D Editing. In the past, creators could only edit their plans in 2D, then switch to 3D to see if their change works the way they intended it to. This could be a bit arduous and time consuming, so we wanted to make a better connection between editing your plans, and viewing them in 3D.
With the new 3D Editing feature, creators can view their plan in 3D, click the new "pencil" icon to activate 3D editing, and move pieces around their plan so they're more precisely placed.
Right now, this only applies to our furniture and accessories - but eventually we'd like for plans to be 100% editable in 3D - meaning accessories, furniture, wall paint, textures, and more!
